Looking for a special birthday party? Then you’re in the right place. During this workshop, children dive into the world of insects. First, they get a guided tour along our insect display cabinets, where they can observe many fascinating species up close. From shiny beetles to butterflies with enormous wings — there is so much to discover.
After that, they learn what an insect looks like, how to handle it carefully, and then get to work themselves as real mini researchers.
Nothing scary — just careful observation, calm working, and creating something to be proud of.
And of course, enjoying drinks together is part of the fun.

Unlimited drinks during the workshop
Duration: 1.5 to 2 hours (depending on the children’s pace)
Each child mounts 2 jewel beetles OR 2 butterflies
The children learn step by step how to do this neatly and carefully. At the end, everyone has a special insect to be proud of.
€19.50 per child
Everything from Option 1, plus:
A small frame that fits the beetle or butterfly, to take home
A small gift for each child at the end of the party
This way, the children not only have a great experience but also something beautiful and something fun to take home.
Sometimes we have live insects at the time of the workshop that are suitable for handling. The children can observe them up close, carefully hold them (if they want), and of course take photos. This is often the most exciting and memorable moment of the day.
This is a party for curious children who like to explore, learn, and do something unique. An experience they will talk about for a long time.
Birthday parties can be booked from 4 children.
The minimum age is about 8 years, as the workshop requires focus and careful work. Younger children are welcome in consultation.
