Are you ready to create your own Fairy Sculpture? During this special workshop, you will craft a magical artwork made from insect elements under the guidance of artist Cedric Laquieze. A fairy built from insect and butterfly elements, where you fully determine your own style and character.
In our unique and creative workshop space, you will learn step by step how to build a Fairy Sculpture. Cedric will guide you through his working method and help you with composition, posture, balance, and finishing. During this workshop, you will create your own fairy and place it directly under a beautiful glass dome, so you can take it home safely and in style.
The workshop starts at 10:00 AM and is expected to run until approximately 4:00 PM. Please bring your own lunch so we can take a half-hour break during the day.
The workshop includes the glass dome and basic insects to create your fairy. Want to make an extra spectacular fairy? You can optionally upgrade on location (for an additional fee) with special insects and/or butterflies.
Explanation of the materials and the structure of a Fairy Sculpture.
Live demonstration of the techniques used, including useful tips and tricks.
After the explanation, you will start working on your own fairy, with personal guidance from Cedric!
At the end of the workshop, you will take your Fairy Sculpture home under the glass dome, with all the knowledge needed to continue experimenting at home.
